Room booking policy

  1. Congregation members of IPC Randwick and Kingsway Church can request room usage for regular or special events. To make a booking, please check for availability from the calendar above, then submit your request in this form or send an email request to our Committee of Management (CoM). Any direct request made outside the proper channel will not be processed


    Special note for David’s Room:

    This room can be booked for most church related activities, such as Bible Study, music practice, etc, where consuming foods/drinks is not the main activity. Bible study socials or any parties would not generally be approved.

  2. Requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance. Requests made with less notice may not be accommodated unless they are for an emergency, such as a funeral. CoM will review these on a case-by-case basis and reserves the right to cancel existing reservations if an emergency request arises.

  3. All congregation members using the room are expected to treat the building and its facilities with respect and care. After each event, the contact person must ensure the following: (1) return all chairs, tables, and other items to their original positions, (2) switch off all electrical equipment such as lights and A/C, after use, (3) empty the bins and replace them with new liners, (4) before leaving the premises, make sure all doors and gates are closed and locked, and activate the church alarm.
  4. Do not leave any food/drinks in the kitchen area. Any leftovers must be taken home or disposed of properly.
  5. If you bring kitchenware, tableware and eating utensils from home, please take them home again after the event. Items left behind may be discarded.

  6. CoM cannot guarantee approval for any church activity to use the room. Applications will be assessed based on the circumstances and CoM reserves the right to approve or reject any request. The decision will be communicated as soon as practicable.


* Please note, open-flame candles are not permitted within the church premises; only battery-operated candles may be used.
