Indonesian Presbyterian Church - Randwick

IPC Randwick Choir was formed to support IPC Randwick’s church services. It is a ministry activity that is easily accessible for the church members to participate in. They sing regularly once every two weeks in the first and second services.

IPC choir also participates in special events such as Easter, Dedication services and Christmas service. Christmas carolling in nursing homes at Christmas time is part of the Choir outside church activity.

Serving God through their talents of singing is an enjoyment for the members. Fellowship among members grow stronger by spending time in practice, performing, and get together to celebrate birthdays, or even just having lunches together.

The challenge among the members is practice and more practice to strive for ‘perfection’, especially with difficult praise songs that sometimes can be hard to master. They do have professional training workshops during the year where theory and singing techniques are taught.

IPC Choir believes that they want to give the best in order to praise the Lord. But in the midst of all seriousness, there are always plenty of laughter, fellowship and encouragement to each other.

Practice sessions are held every Sundays:

Time: 10.00 am to 1 pm

Venue: Talbot Hall, IPC Randwick, Cnr Alison Rd and Cook St, Randwick

Ages: All ages, we welcome new members.
